Antonio B. Henry, M.D., PhD

Professor of Dermatology, Pathology and Public Health Sciences at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

He received his MD and PhD degrees from the University of Pittsburghin in1987, following which he completed his Dermatology residency at the University of California and his Dermatopathology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr. Henry directs the Dermatology Center of Atlanta, which focuses on improved care for patients with skin disease. Dr. Henry’s chief clinical interest is vitiligo: having served as a member of the Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Board, chaired that Board’s Subcommittee on Education, and served as the Director of the Foundation’s Chief Residents’ Meeting on vitiligo treatment from 2001-2006. He also chaired the American Vitiligo Research Foundation, developing and directing regional courses on emerging vitiligo therapies. He received a Presidential Citation from the American Academy of Dermatology in 2007 for his vitiligo education efforts.
